the shower pressure could be better. also, the bathroom was a bit cramped for my liking.

Just a well-suited match for a break on a long journey in Cambridge with great value for the money. The friendly welcome made us feel right at home, and walking past interesting cafes and shops was a pleasant surprise. Check out the breakfast options. the smell of bacon in the morning was tempting.

parkview guesthouse was really nice. the hosts are super friendly & made us feel right at home. my twin room was cozy and had everything we needed includin' a fridge which was awesome. also, the garden in the back is beautifull, perfect for the kids to play. we loved the location, close to the park and just a nice walk to the city center!
the bathroom was a bit small, so it might be tricky for bigger folks. and no breakfast was included, which was a bummer since we heard it was good.

Charming guest house with a warm vibe
Had a lovely stay! Zarah was super friendly and made me feel right at home. The location's great, so peaceful with birds singing in the morn. My single room was cozy, with a fab view of the garden. Breakfast was simple but tasty, just what I needed. The bathroom was a bit snug, though!

Quiet Retreat near Cambridge's Charm
I enjoyed my one-night stay in a serene single room, with tranquil views of the garden. The warm host provided a delicious breakfast and made me feel completely welcome. Just a heads up, plan your meals ahead, as dining options are limited nearby.

I recently stayed at Parkview Guesthouse for 3 nights. The room had everything I needed, including a fridge, tea, and coffee. Zarah, the host, treated me warmly and made me feel at home. The guesthouse is located on a quiet street near a park, which I appreciated. I loved that the local area had a few nice cafés and shops just a short walk away, but I discovered there are no proper restaurants close by. The walk to the city center took about 30 minutes, but it turned out to be a scenic route. The room was cozy, although the bathroom felt a bit cramped during my stay. I noticed the shower pressure was somewhat low, not ideal for a refreshing start to the day. Although breakfast was available, I didn't get a chance to try it. I would return due to the inviting atmosphere and friendly service.

Oh mate, the dining vibes were top-notch! I sunk my teeth into a rich Hungarian beef stew and it was pure bliss. Plus, Zarah was simply delightful! The homely atmosphere made me feel right at home during my 6-night stay in the family room.
Just a cheeky heads-up, the en-suite bathroom felt a bit cramped, and all the rooms are upstairs.

The Large Single Room I stayed in was super comfy with a spotlessly clean en-suite. It had everything I needed, a cozy bed, mini-fridge, TV, and a kettle for tea. The decor was nice, giving it a warm feel. Only downside? The bathroom was a bit snug for someone tall. just a really pleasant space to kick back in after a long day.

The bathroom was cozier than I’d like—definitely not ideal for a game of Twister! And let’s just say, my phone and the fridge had a loud showdown at night.

The Parkview Guesthouse offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with lovely decor throughout. I particularly appreciated the well-maintained gardens and the cozy common areas, which felt safe and accessible for seniors like myself.
More seating options in common areas would be nice.
